The Team

Sharon has been involved in the acquisition of land and property both in London and the Country since the late 1990s. After 11 years of working for one of the world’s major law firms in the City, she decided to pursue her passion for people and the property industry. Sharon began a seven year ‘apprenticeship’ in dealing with as many sides of the industry as she possibly could. She bought and sold properties and land, renovated properties, project managed, dealt with planning and listed building consents, found projects and land for developers, negotiated deals, turned deals and in the past has had dealings within the commercial property sector.

In the spring of 2005 she decided to set up her own business, acting exclusively on behalf of private clients looking to buy property. She now oversees and directs the development and expansion of this dynamic and exciting company, as well as providing an incomparable service to her clients.

Sharon has built up an enviable reputation for dealing with her clients on a personal and confidential basis. Sharon lives in Kent with her husband and three daughters.

Over the past 15 years Sarah has worked in the customer service sector for some of the UK’s leading financial institutions. Two years ago she decided it was time to move out of finance and embark on a career path that was more focused on client care and service.

Sarah joined SaxbyJames at the end of 2006. She is responsible for the management and running of the Kent office. Her personable manner and incredibly organised approach ensures that the whole team operates efficiently and effectively. Sarah, without a doubt, is the office Angel!

Sarah lives in Kent with her husband and two children.

An important part of the SaxbyJames service is providing all clients with a full survey on their proposed property.

Barry Wolfenden is our independent recommended surveyor. As well as looking after SaxbyJames clients, and being the consultant building surveyor to a number of large companies, Barry runs his own private practice, B Wolfenden Surveying Ltd.

Barry is a fundamental part of our business. By providing this service to our clients, we are able to ensure that they receive vital knowledge with regards their planned property purchase.

While running his own practice, Stephen Bradbury (Architects) Ltd, Stephen is an integral part of SaxbyJames. He ensures that our clients receive expert advice and knowledge with regards all aspects of architecture, planning and listed building issues.

For those clients requiring architectural advice in London, Phil Coffey – a former winner of the prestigious AJ Corus 40 under 40 Competition is our recommended architect. This award celebrates a new generation of UK architects.  Intended to bring wider recognition to 40 of the most promising emerging architects working in the UK today under 40 years of age. The last time this competition was run 17 years ago it was awarded to many of the ‘now famous’ architects.

Phil recently launched his own London practice, Phil Coffey Architects Ltd. He remains an important part of the SaxbyJames team. His philosophy is to provide innovative solutions to his clients’ requirements. His logic is clear – we would all rather be outside!

For the conveyance needs of our clients Gary Leech is our recommended solicitor. He runs his own practice, GPL@Law, specialising in property. He has extensive experience in both residential and commercial property sectors.
